Arocon’s consulting division focuses on a single mission:

Protecting life, assets and operations with minimum hindrance to personal freedom and daily operational activities.

Arocon provides the most effective, tested and trusted security expertise in the world, enabling organizations – and people – to achieve security in an increasingly turbulent world.

Arocon develops and markets a wide range of security solutions to help mitigate the risks of terrorism.

The company’s executive team has decades of experience in counter-terrorism. Its battle-tested experts provide Arocon with a unique capability to tap into a wealth of expertise in successfully dealing with the terrorist threat in densely crowded urban areas.

Arocon executives have previously worked with government, military, law enforcement and Fortune 500 Companies worldwide. Their expertise includes assessing security requirements, conducting security planning and implementation, establishing security training programs and providing proactive security follow-up. The Arocon team has decades of experience in successfully identifying and addressing terrorist and security threats against multinational companies, major airports, seaports, shopping centers, commercial centers, sports stadiums, public transportation systems, etc. In fact, Arocon has designed and implemented effective security systems for shopping centers, seaports, airports and airlines in one of the most active terrorist battlefields in the world–systems which have never been penetrated.

The international reputation of Arocon's experts resulted in a request by the US Congress for one such expert to testify before a special committee investigating aviation security. Based on that expert's testimony, the US government changed FAA regulations to implement his suggestions.

Arocon assists clients in identifying and responding to terrorist threats to personnel and property, white-collar crime, kidnapping/abduction incidents, information misuse, fraudulent insurance claims and threats to assets. Moreover, Arocon can assist clients in complying with evolving federal, state and local government security rules and regulations. Where desired, Arocon can implement a graduated security plan that is responsive to elevated terrorist threat levels as announced by the Department of Homeland Security, allowing a client's security level to increase as the threat level does.

When appropriate, Arocon can participate in the design and planning of future client locations and facilities, collaborating with architects and engineering teams to create maximum deterrence and risk reduction, amplify rescue and recovery options, and minimize interference with daily operations.

Arocon’s security plan includes security-screening techniques, electronic control systems and fencing, innovative software, smart cards, identification devices and computer-based screenings, psychological profiling, security procedures, biometrics technology, training and oversight. Throughout this security application process, from the initial analysis up through the detailed implementation plan, Arocon will remain sensitive both to the client’s cost considerations and to limiting interference to the effective conduct of the client’s daily operations.

Public Transportation Systems Security (Passenger, Facilities and Cargo)
As the terrorist seeks to target large concentrations of people, a primary target for terrorists is a mass transit system. Arocon is uniquely able to meet the challenges of implementing security for these systems. Its executives have successfully protected such targets in some of the world’s most active terrorist battlefields. They have developed and implemented programs that include state-of-the-art technology and psychological profiling which have proven effective in preventing terrorist activity at a numerous air and sea ports. Additionally, these programs ensure that all cargo shipped via these facilities is non-threatening. Arocon’s time-tested security procedures minimize disruptions to operations, passengers and cargo transit. Arocon also can develop security plans for private and corporate aircraft and vessels.

Training
Arocon provides training in a range of security disciplines--both in the field as well as in the classroom. The latter is achieved through a sophisticated, state-of-the-art interactive training simulator—
(www.ies-usa.com) the same system used by the FBI, TSA and numerous other police/government agencies. Simulators are available either for purchase or lease, with Arocon personnel prepared to meet specific teaching requirements—i.e., by conducting all training or by training the client's trainers. Among the simulator’s unique attributes is a quick, easy-to-use filming and editing capability, allowing clients to create customized training scenarios that fit its specific needs. Arocon holds a strategic relationship with its training partner, Chameleon.

Loss Prevention
Arocon’s loss prevention program focuses on losses occurring from both internal and external sources. While most businesses implement measures to prevent external theft, many fail to effectively prevent internal theft—which accounts for almost half of all such losses. Internal loss is the result of a combination of factors: ease of accessibility to business assets; the right opportunity; existence of conditions that encourage an employee, predisposed to stealing, to do so; and the personal values of each employee. Arocon’s loss prevention program identifies vulnerabilities by analyzing daily operations and routine procedures. It then implements a system of checks and balances to minimize internal loss. The process focuses on two elements. The first is is the human element, which includes screening employees’ motivations and values through questionnaires and integrity interviews (including, when desired, the use of polygraph testing and/or a computer voice stress analyzer). The second is the procedural element, which includes implementing procedures that minimize asset accessibility and the opportunity for an employee to contemplate theft.

As part of the loss-prevention program, Arocon will:

Conduct a security assessment to identify vulnerabilities of business operations.
Prepare a security plan to protect the business facility, assets and employees against loss.
Assist with the implementation of the security plan.
Implement policies that will prevent manipulation of business assets by
employees.

Ensure that the plan reduces vulnerability to shrinkage, loss and incidents of theft.

Arocon’s loss prevention program identifies vulnerabilities by analyzing daily operations and routine procedures.
